January 4, 2026 | Hiking in the Philippines 

Last weekend before the holidays are over. I decided to make the most out of it by visiting another province and beginning my first hike of 2026. Mt. Pulag in Benguet is well loved among many beginner and experienced hikers for the scenic trails and a beautiful sunrise. I was lucky enough to see a waterfall of clouds right before I climbed the summit. The mountain's cold temperatures challenged me as someone who's never experienced winter but the scenic trails among a mossy forest and the grasslands made it worth coming back to.
